Description

“Sleigh of Santa” shows Santa in a red coat driving a sleigh loaded with presents.

What the picture shows

The coat is worked in red beads, the fur trim and beard in white, the boots in dark beads and the sack behind him in gold. Green needles with red berries lie around the sleigh and a white band of snow runs below. The face stays printed, so the expression reads softly. The circle is trimmed with a golden rim and hangs on a white ribbon. The second part of the work uses the same base with the loaded sleigh: the wheels and runners in gold, the presents in red and green beads. The runners of the sleigh are marked with a row of golden beads.

The two pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on the ribbon. This classic Christmas motif suits red-and-gold decor and gift boxes alike. The pattern is printed on the canvas in colour, so the beads go straight over the shapes. The reels of thread, guelder rose, cones and the knitted throw in the photo are styling props. The fur trim of the coat is worked in small white beads along its whole length.
