What the picture shows

The shape recalls a stretched oval with a wavy edge. The field is filled with grey pearls, smoky facets and silver beads laid in circles and arcs — hence the sense of woven threads. A large domed stone with a yellow-iridescent sheen sits at the centre, with rays of pale beads around it. Thin chains are attached along the lower edge, carrying two blue drops. Eleven colours in a cool silver range. The gaps between beads remain as the printed scheme. The pattern is not symmetrical: there are more stones on the right than on the left, so the brooch looks like a handmade ornament rather than a stamped shape.
