Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Redtail"

Redtail shows a fox curled into a ball with its nose tucked into its tail — a warm, homely picture the size of a palm.

What the picture shows

The fox lies in profile: a sharp muzzle with a white patch, dark eyes and nose, and a back worked in orange and brick-red beads with ginger shifts. The chest and the tip of the tail are pale, almost cream, and a darker line runs along the contour, separating the figure from the ground. Fourteen colours give a smooth move from orange to brown. In the photo the tail is finished with fluffy orange feathers. The beads lie densely but not solidly — the printed scheme stays visible between them, matched in tone. The eyes and nose are made from black beads, and a white stripe from forehead to chin splits the muzzle in two and makes it expressive. The ears are dark with ginger centres.
