Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Racoon and Christmas"

“Racoon and Christmas” shows a striped raccoon hanging a yellow star on a little fir tree while thick snow falls around it.

What the picture shows

The ground is blue with printed snowflakes; over it, white beads build up the snowfall, green beads the tree, a yellow cluster the star on its top, and red beads the garland the raccoon holds in its paws. The animal itself stays printed, with only its fur underlined by dark beads. The second part of the work is a blue circle with a large white snowflake in matt beads. A silver-white rim runs around both pieces, and a white ribbon is tied at the top.

This is a small pendant: the two pieces are sewn together, the padding goes inside and the ribbon stays as a loop. Such an ornament holds well on the tree and does not break, so it can safely hang low. The cones and dried oranges in the photo are styling props. The beads are sewn over the coloured shapes printed on the canvas, so there is no chart on a screen to check against. The red garland is the finest area and is usually left until last.
