Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Purring Hugs"

“Purring Hugs” shows two cats leaning into each other with a red heart glowing between them.

What the picture shows

The heart is worked densely in red beads — the single bright patch of the piece. The cats are outlined in white and cream beads over the printed drawing: the line of the backs, the ears, the tips of the paws. Pink hearts and white pearls are scattered over the ground and form a light frame along the edge. The faces stay printed, so their expression is soft rather than graphic. The heart is trimmed with pink beads and the ribbon is pink too. The second part of the work is a matching heart with a white cat in a red cap.

The pieces are sewn together, the decorative filler goes inside and a loop is left at the top. The ornament is small and soft — it hangs on a mirror or a cupboard handle, or goes into a gift bag. The pattern is in colour and printed straight on the canvas. The pompoms, stars and the lipstick-print card in the photo are styling props. The white pearls along the edge of the heart sit at even intervals and hold its shape.
