Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Plush fairy tale"

Plush fairy tale is a large bumblebee with a body made of fur pompoms and wings in turquoise and gold.

What the picture shows

The body is built from two pompoms — white above and smoky grey below — and they give the piece its volume and softness. The lower pair of wings is turquoise, set with deep emerald and red faceted stones and edged in gold. The upper pair is made of pale organza with golden veins, and the background shows through it. The head is trimmed with green and white beads and small crystals, while the antennae are strands of turquoise beads with gold accents. The ten colours stay within turquoise, gold, white and warm grey, so despite its size the piece does not look busy. Beaded areas alternate with fabric and fur, so the work moves faster than on a solidly covered surface.
