Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Orchid"

“Orchid” is an orchid brooch in pink and pale blue with a large faceted stone at its heart.

What the picture shows

The flower opens head-on, its petals set almost in a circle. The upper ones are worked in pale blue and greyish blue microbeads, the lower ones in pink and crimson, so the piece reads as two colours running into each other. A large pink drop stone lies at the centre in a setting of fine rondelles. Sequins of two kinds are scattered over the petals for flat shine, while pearls and hemispheres work for volume. A bronze row of beads runs along the outer edge and holds the contour. The kit holds 25 bead colours. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.
