Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Little sun"

“Little sun” is a round sun brooch in yellow beads with a dark centre and gold drops.

What the picture shows

The petal-rays spread from the centre in two rounds: the inner one in strong yellow beads, the outer in a lighter, almost honey shade, so the flower seems lit from within. The centre is dark, worked in black and brown beads, ringed with small rondelles and holding a green bicone in the middle. Pearls mark the border between the centre and the rays. Two gold chains with amber drops hang free from the bottom of the flower and add length to the piece. The kit holds 17 bead colours. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.

The embroidered part is 66×67 mm, and the drops add a few centimetres more. The level is average: the rays must be laid evenly around the circle or the shape drifts. The brooch is assembled on the clasp from the kit and needs no frame. The work is fine, so it is worth having good light and a small magnifier close at hand.
