Description

“Little guest” is a green leaf with a terracotta spiral settled on it — that spiral is what gives the piece its name.

What the picture shows

The leaf points upward, its edge outlined in turquoise beads with small light blue dots. Inside, the field is worked in several greens, from grass to almost emerald, with gold curls winding across it to mark the veins. Three small circles with olive centres sit in the upper part, and to the right of them an orange-red spiral reads as a snail. A short green stem runs down at the bottom. Thirteen colours, nearly all of them green and turquoise; terracotta is the only warm accent here. The turquoise border separates the leaf from whatever fabric it is worn on.
