Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Light feather"

Light feather is an elongated feather in a turquoise-and-blue range, with separated barbs along the edges.

What the picture shows

The feather lies on the diagonal and narrows towards the tip. The shaft in the middle is embroidered in two rows of silver beads, and the barbs run out from it on both sides — mint, turquoise, blue and deep navy, laid in short stitches. Closer to the base there are small faceted stones that add sparkle. Fourteen colours stay in cool water tones. The shape is open: print remains on the canvas between the strands, and it is that, rather than a solid mass of beads, that gives the feather its lightness. Towards the tip the barbs become shorter and sparser, so the feather seems lighter at the top than at the base. A few strands deliberately fall to one side.
