Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Lady"

Lady is a black cat seated in profile, with a red stone by its tail. The silhouette is spare, almost poster-like.

What the picture shows

The cat is turned side-on: an arched back, pointed ears, the tail wrapped around the paws. The body is laid in black beads, while the contour and the tail line are stitched in gold — it is the gold that draws the figure and keeps it from merging with the ground. A large red faceted stone in a gold setting is sewn at the base of the tail, and two clear stones like drops sit on the chest. Eight colours, a black-and-gold palette with a single red accent. The gaps between beads remain as print on the canvas. The inside of the ear is lighter, and the paws are marked with a few gold beads — there is little detail, and that is exactly why the silhouette is so crisp.
