Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Holiday of bear"

“Holiday of bear” shows a bear cub in a red cap and a striped scarf against a deep blue ground scattered with tiny festive doodles.

What the picture shows

The canvas is printed densely — little firs, drops, flowers and stars all around the circle. The beads pick out the essentials: the red cap with its white trim, the broad scarf in red, white, green and yellow beads, and a few turquoise and dark green leafy patches. The bear’s face stays printed and looks all the softer next to the glossy beadwork. A yellow rim runs around the circle. The second part of the work uses the same blue ground with a fir tree in green and white beads.

The two pieces are put together with the padding inside and hung on a white ribbon. The format is small and the picture reads from a distance, so the ornament works equally well on the tree or on a door handle. The wooden blocks and the candy cane in the photo are not part of the kit. The printed pattern is in full colour, so the order is obvious: first the large shapes of the cap and scarf, then the small leafy accents. The kit is rated as simple.
