Description

“Holiday baking” shows a gingerbread man with white icing among sprigs of holly and red berries.

What the picture shows

The icing is worked in white and cream beads — the collar, the buttons, the outlines of arms and legs — while the biscuit itself stays warmly printed. Red berries and green leaves in small beads are scattered around, and the square is trimmed with a copper-gold rim. The white ground is almost bare, so the relief reads at once. The second part of the work is a white base with a gingerbread star and a sprig, also outlined in white and golden beads. The green leaves around the biscuit are worked in two shades.
