Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Hamsa Amulet"

“Hamsa Amulet” is a protective hand in blue and white with an eye at its centre.

What the picture shows

The hand is shown head-on with a thumb on either side — the classic hamsa shape. The field of the palm is filled with white and pearl beads, and a wide band of blue microbeads runs along the edge and holds the outline. An eye sits inside: a pale almond shape with a dark blue hemisphere for a pupil. Pearls of two kinds are scattered around it, forty-two in all, giving an even matt shine. Rondelles, bicones, a drop and a triangle light up the fingers and the lower edge. The kit holds 15 bead colours. Inside the outline the printed canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.

The brooch is assembled on the clasp from the kit; the blue stones and cards in the photograph are styling props. The design is printed straight onto the canvas, so there are no squares to count: the colour you need shows under the needle.
