“Gifts rush” shows a blue retro car carrying an oversized red cap and a fir branch on its roof.

What the picture shows

The body is worked in several shades of blue bead, the wheels in silvery faceted beads, the cap on the roof in red with a fluffy white bobble, and green needles with red berries peek out alongside. The pale mint ground carries printed snow and snowflakes, so the little car seems to be driving down a snowy road. The square is trimmed with white beads. The second part of the work is a mint square with a blue-and-yellow snowflake. The fir branch on the car roof is worked in dark green beads. The red berries beside the needles add a few warm dots to the design.

The pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on a pale ribbon. Children take to the car motif, so this ornament often hangs lowest of all, where it can be seen. The fir branches, cones and the wooden board in the photo are styling props. The faceted beads on the wheels catch the light differently from the rest, which makes the little car look glossy. The pattern is in colour, printed straight on the canvas.
