Description

“Forbidden Beauty” is a fly agaric with a red cap and white pearl spots.

What the picture shows

The mushroom stands upright, its cap wide and slightly domed. It is worked in red and crimson microbeads, and six pearls of two kinds act as the white spots by which a fly agaric is known at once; ten sequins of two kinds sit beside them. The stem is pale, built from white and greyish pearl beads and thickened at the base; forty-five bugle beads of two kinds run down it in vertical strokes, like gills. Three hemispheres and five rondelles mark the ring under the cap. The kit holds 20 bead colours and the difficulty is above average. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.
