Description

Flight is a hot air balloon in green stripes, with a bunch of flowers instead of a basket.

What the picture shows

The canopy is built from alternating green and white stripes that narrow towards a pale crown, and a row of light beads runs along its lower edge like a ribbon. Three short lines drop from it, and in place of a basket hangs a posy: pink, lilac and yellow flowers with green leaves. A white beaded tassel dangles below. There are only eight colours here, and that is exactly why the picture looks light, almost childlike. The work is small — 60×80 mm and about 837 beads. The ground inside the contour is not covered solidly: the printed scheme stays between the beads in a matching tone.
