Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Flap"

“Flap” is a hair clip shaped as a peacock feather, worked in blue and turquoise beads.

What the picture shows

The embroidered element has a curved outline with a pointed tip, like a feather bent by the wind. Blue, cobalt and emerald lines wind inside it, with silver and pearly rows laid between them that read as barbs. Faceted stones sit along the centre: a honey-coloured marquise, a turquoise drop, a few round pearls, and above them a clear stone with a rainbow sheen. The canvas is covered completely, so the clip looks solidly beaded. Nineteen colours give a deep transition from ink blue to pale turquoise. The upper edge of the feather rises in a wave while the lower one stays straight — and it is on that edge the clip is fixed.
