Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Flamingo"

Flamingo is a pink bird with a curved neck, built from beads in several shades of pink. A light summer piece.

What the picture shows

The flamingo stands side-on: a thin neck arches over, the head is lowered, the beak is gold and black. The body is laid out in a spiral of pink beads and small faceted stones — from pale powder to deep fuchsia — so movement can be read inside the figure. The legs are thin, embroidered in golden beads two stitches wide. Sixteen colours work on shifts within a single hue. The printed art canvas remains visible in the gaps between beads and supports the colour. The eye is marked by a single dark bead in a pale ring, and below the neck the beads are slightly darker than on the body, so the bird does not look flat. The tail is short with a lifted tip.
