Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Feather touch"

“Feather touch” is a wide bracelet with peacock feathers worked in blue and turquoise beads.

What the picture shows

Curved feathers run along the whole band: blue and ultramarine shafts, turquoise and emerald barbs, with single rows of lilac and sand between them. A shimmering stone sits in the centre of the large eye, with dark drops and glass leaves beside it. A pale pearly row runs along both edges and holds the shape of the strip. The canvas is covered completely here: the microbeads lie densely, while the faceted stones rise above the beadwork and catch the light. Twenty colours give smooth transitions from deep blue to pale turquoise, so the feathers look three-dimensional. Towards the clasps the feathers grow smaller, so the strip does not look cut off but tapers away.
