Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Emerald gaze"

“Emerald gaze” is an eye brooch in white beads with an emerald iris.

What the picture shows

The eye is slightly almond-shaped, with the outer corner lifted. The white is filled with white and pearl microbeads laid in arcs that follow its shape. The iris is built from several greens — from light grass to deep emerald — and the pupil is black and almost without shine. The lashes are bugle beads: thirty silvery pieces spread from the upper lid, each a little different in length. Pearls mark the lower lid and two rondelles the corners. The kit holds 11 bead colours. Inside the outline the printed canvas is stitched densely, then cut out and assembled.

The design is printed straight onto the canvas, so there are no squares to count: the colour you need shows under the needle.
