Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Easter Tenderness"

“Easter Tenderness” is a pair of egg pendants: one pale blue with white branches, the other peach with white zigzags.

What the picture shows

On the blue egg the white beads run as thin twigs with small buds — a drawing that recalls willow under hoarfrost. On the peach egg the same white beads are set in three rows of sharp zigzags, as on a classic pysanka. There are only two bead colours in the kit, so the whole piece is built on the contrast between white and the ground, which stays printed. Both eggs are trimmed with white beads and hang on white ribbons tied in bows.

The pieces are sewn together, the decorative filler goes inside and a loop is left at the top. The calm pastel pair looks good on a spring branch or on a basket handle. The pattern is in colour and printed straight on the canvas, with no separate key to find. The nests of eggs, pussy willow and pink cloth in the photo are styling props. The piece is simple even for a first attempt: two colours and a clear printed outline.
