What the picture shows

The long ears are worked in white and pink beads, the jumpers in lime and green, the collars in rows of tiny white beads. The faces stay printed, and it is they that give the piece its expression. The base is square, the ground pale blue with printed snowflakes, the edge trimmed with blue beads and a white ribbon on top. The second part of the work is a blue square with a green snail carrying a red toadstool with white spots. The flower on the thin sprig above the bunnies is worked in pink beads.

The pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on the ribbon. The motif is not strictly festive, so the ornament happily stays in a child’s room after the holidays. The fir branches, cones and the shell in the photo are styling props and are not included. The bunnies’ ears are worked in two colours at once, so they are best tackled with a fresh eye. The pattern is in colour and printed straight on the canvas.
