Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Dragonfly"

Dragonfly is a blue dragonfly with spread wings and a long abdomen. The widest piece in the series, 82×85 mm.

What the picture shows

The wings open almost horizontally: each is embroidered in blue and cobalt beads and outlined with a golden line, so the pair reads like stained glass. Lighter areas are left inside the wings — the print on the canvas shows there, and that is what makes the wings look transparent. The abdomen is long, built from alternating blue and gold segments, narrowing towards the tip. The head is small, with two round eyes. Sixteen colours. The palette rests on blue with gold. The upper pair of wings is larger than the lower one, and a thin gap shows between them, so the wings do not merge into a single blot.
