Description

“Curly sheep” is a white sheep whose fleece is made of pearls.

What the picture shows

The sheep stands in profile with a black head and thin black legs. The whole fleece is built from thirty-seven pearls in three kinds and different sizes, and they give the uneven curly surface this piece was designed for. Smaller pearls sit along the edge and larger ones nearer the middle, so the back reads as rounded. The head is worked in black microbeads and the ear is marked with a few beads. The legs and hooves are outlined with twenty centimetres of bullion wire in two kinds, and eighteen bugle beads hold the line of the back. The kit holds only 10 bead colours. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely.
