“Clover for good luck” is a pair of green hair pins shaped as a four-leaf clover.

What the picture shows

Each leaf is worked in two shades of green — a darker rim and a lighter centre — with a fine row of golden sheen along the contour. A blue-turquoise faceted drop sits at the heart of every petal, and it is what makes the piece visible in the hair. A rosette of clear beads covers the point where the petals meet. The canvas is covered completely, so the clover has a crisp shaped edge. Six colours — the shortest palette in the series, so the chart is clear at first glance. The clover has no stem — the petals meet right at the mount, which keeps the shape compact.
