“Christmas lights” shows a moose calf with large antlers in a red cap on a green ground, with a garland glowing on its scarf.

What the picture shows

The antlers are worked in milky white beads, the cap in red with a green sprig, and along the checked scarf lie yellow, green and red bead clusters — those are the lights of the title. Golden four-bead flowers are scattered over the green ground, and the circle is trimmed with a dense golden rim. The calf’s face stays printed and the beads do not cover it. The second part of the work is a terracotta circle with a blue-and-white snowflake.

Both pieces are sewn together with the padding inside and hung on a pale ribbon. The warm green and gold suit wooden decor, so this ornament often ends up on a shelf rather than on the tree. The kraft bags and the card in the photo are styling props. The lights are worked as clusters of three beads — the quickest and most enjoyable part. The pattern is in colour, printed straight on the canvas, so there is nothing to count.
