Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Blue whale"

“Blue whale” is a whale in dark blue beads with bronze and gold sequins.

What the picture shows

The whale swims to the left, its tail raised and forked. The back is worked in dark blue and violet microbeads, the belly lighter, shading into greyish blue. Forty-one sequins of two kinds fall along the sides and the tail as gold and bronze patches, so the skin looks wet. Rondelles in five kinds are spaced along the back, and nineteen bugle beads in three kinds mark the pleats on the belly — the same grooving real whales have. The eye is a single pearl, and five more pearls are scattered over the body. The kit holds 22 bead colours. Inside the outline the canvas is stitched densely, then cut out.

It is fitted with the decorative clasp from the kit; the blue paper in the photograph is a styling prop. The stones and findings are already matched to the design, so nothing else needs to be bought.
