Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Blue bird"

“Blue bird” is a brooch shaped as a bird worked in deep blue beads, with a long turquoise feather tail.

What the picture shows

The bird is shown in profile, head up and one wing spread. The body is filled with blue and dark blue microbeads, while the wing and breast are lifted with clear and greenish-blue crystals that catch the light from different angles. A lighter row of beads runs along the outline and separates the figure from the ground. The tail is not embroidery but real decorative feathers on a ribbon, which hang loose and give the piece movement. The design is printed straight onto the art canvas: inside the outline it is stitched densely, then the piece is cut out and assembled.
