Beautiful hydrangea is a full head of lilac and violet florets above green leaves.

What the picture shows

The flower head fills the upper two thirds of the piece: dozens of small four-petalled blooms laid from pearlescent sequins and beads, from pale pink to deep violet. A light bead or a small stone sits in the middle of each flower, so the surface comes out textured and shifts in the light. Below are two green leaves with clear veins in emerald beads. Twelve colours. On art canvas the beads do not cover solidly: the print between the flowers supports the colour and adds depth. The flowers lie in layers and partly overlap, so the head looks rounded; towards the edge it thins out into separate petals.
