Bear in love is a grey plush teddy holding a large red heart in front of it.

What the picture shows

The bear sits facing the viewer, paws spread around the heart. The fur is embroidered in grey and graphite beads, while the muzzle, ears and paw pads are lighter, almost white, and the nose and eyes are black. The heart at the centre is built from red faceted stones of different sizes, so it is domed and catches the light more strongly than the rest of the work. Twelve colours: a grey range plus a red accent. The ground around the figure is left unstitched — the print on the art canvas remains there. The seam on the belly is marked with a lighter row of beads and the inner ears are almost white — small things that make the bear look like a soft toy.
