Description

“Ballet of the Winter Night” shows a nutcracker in a red uniform and a ballerina in a white tutu on a muted green ground.

What the picture shows

The nutcracker’s uniform is worked in red beads with golden buttons, the shako in black and copper, while the moustache and beard stay printed. The ballerina’s tutu is laid in matt white beads in several tiers, with dark green firs rising below. White three-bead snowflakes are scattered over both pieces. The circles are trimmed with an emerald rim and hang on white ribbons. The muted green ground stays printed and holds both scenes together.
