Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Balance"

Balance is a round brooch built around the yin-yang sign, split into a dark half and a light one.

What the picture shows

The dark half is worked in black and graphite beads with deep purple facets and narrow navettes; a clear stone with a rainbow sheen sits in its eye, ringed with white pearls. The light half is gathered from white, pale blue and pearl beads with pink and smoky faceted drops added; its eye is another pale stone, this time set in dark beads. The wavy line between the halves is laid in silver bugle beads, so the division reads from a distance. A double edging runs around the circle: black beads outside, silver inside. Nineteen colours stay within black, silver, white and mother-of-pearl, and the printed scheme keeps the tone in the gaps between beads.
