Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Arabesque"

“Arabesque” is a bracelet of three round medallions in a silvery blue palette.

What the picture shows

The strip is built from overlapping circles, which gives the edge a scalloped, petal-like outline. The largest medallion in the middle is worked in white pearls and pearly beads laid as rays from the centre, with a large iridescent stone at its heart. The side circles are darker: grey-blue rings, rows of turquoise and deep green faceted stones grouped in threes and fours. The canvas is covered completely, and it is the difference between round pearls and fine matt beads that creates the relief. Eleven colours, but many shapes of stone. The side circles are smaller than the central one, so the bracelet has a clear centre and never reads as a repeating pattern.
