Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Arabesque - 2"

“Arabesque - 2” is a bracelet of three circles in red and black with a golden centre.

What the picture shows

The three medallions overlap, which gives the edge its wavy outline. The central circle is worked in concentric rows: a black rim, red and gold rings, and golden rays around a large red stone in the very middle. The side circles are darker, set with faceted stones the colour of ruby and amethyst and with grey pearls. The canvas is covered completely. The twelve colours are arranged so that the black field stays calm while the red and gold work on contrast — which makes the design look like chased metal. Grey pearls are set one by one between the red stones and take a little of the brightness down.

A width of 60 mm makes the piece look like a cuff, and the red and black combination is visible from a distance. The length is adjusted with the hook and chain. This is the second bracelet built on the same round structure as “Arabesque”, but in a warm palette — the two can be stitched as a pair.
