Christmas Ornament Bead Embroidery Kit "Ametrine wings"

Ametrine wings is a small beetle in pink and lilac tones with a large purple stone at its centre.

What the picture shows

The body is almost round, with wings opened out to the sides. A long drop of saturated purple lies in the middle, and below it sit smaller round stones in amethyst and pink. Large pink navettes set in fine beadwork open on either side, and above them is a pair of pale translucent wings the colour of tea roses. The head is small, with two dark purple eyes and short beaded antennae. The space inside the figure is filled with lilac, pearl and rose-gold beads, and the contour is edged in pink. Twenty colours give a smooth move from pale pink to dark amethyst, while the small gaps between beads stay as print on the canvas in a matching tone.
