What the picture shows

The silhouette is simple and instantly readable: two triangular wings, a narrow body and a tail fin. Stones run along the fuselage — a crimson drop at the nose, then amber, purple and clear settings following one another like portholes. The wings are filled with fine pink, lilac and silver beads laid in rows that follow the shape. A double edging of pink and pearl beads traces the whole contour, so the figure keeps its shape even on soft fabric. Twenty colours move from pale pink to crimson, and the printed scheme stays in the gaps between beads.
