Description

“To my footballer” puts a ball and a boot on plain white canvas under a multicoloured greeting. A simple, readable card for someone who plays.

What the picture shows

The word “HAPPY” at the top stays printed in pale blue, while “Birthday” below it is worked in beads, each letter in its own colour: red, blue, yellow, black, grey, turquoise. Under the lettering on the left sits a football made of black, white and grey beads laid out in the usual pentagons. On the right a black boot climbs from the bottom corner, with a white star on the side and a row of yellow studs along the sole; a thin red lace runs from it up to the letters. Small flowers and stars in red, blue, turquoise and black are scattered around. The white ground is left unbeaded — the beads cover only the objects and the lettering, so all seven colours stay legible.
