Description

“The best friend” shows a flower-filled paw print with the word FRIENDS stitched above it.

What the picture shows

The print is made of one large pad and four toes. Inside they are deep ink blue, scattered over with tiny flowers — white, pink, yellow and raspberry, with minute green leaves. That turns the paw into a piece of floral fabric rather than a flat shape. Above it the word FRIENDS is stitched letter by letter, each in its own colour: pink, turquoise, yellow, violet and green. The kit has seven colours, and most of them go into the small floral accents. The white Aida around the motif is left clean and unstitched, which keeps the composition light. The finished embroidery is set into the acrylic key-ring frame.
