Description

“Snow holiday” shows a red pickup carrying a Christmas tree through falling snow, with white lettering above it. The scene is one everybody recognises from posters and cards.

What the picture shows

The canvas is dark grey, close to graphite. Along the top, “Let it Snow” is written out in white beads on two lines, with silver snowflakes of fine beads around it. Below stands a red pickup seen from the side: cab and bed are worked in red beads, the wheels in black, and the window stays as grey print. A green fir tree rides in the back, hung with coloured baubles in blue, red and yellow; another parcel with a gold bow sits on the cab roof. A printed green plate reading “Joy” shows on the bumper. Red and green sprigs and white snowflakes are scattered under the truck. Eleven colours, and the grey ground is never covered with beads.
