Description

“Seal” shows a blue seal balancing a star on its nose, with a yellow-and-blue bow above it.

What the picture shows

The figure is worked in shifts of blue, from near-ink on the back to pale blue on the belly, with white highlights along the flank. The seal sits with its muzzle tipped up, a four-pointed yellow star balanced on its nose. The flippers are outlined in a darker thread, and a short blue band beneath reads as ice or a wave. A bow with a yellow centre and blue loops hangs above its head. There are only seven colours, and the stitches run in dense vertical rows, so the shape looks almost graphic. The white Aida around it is left unstitched and works as a light ground. The finished piece is closed into the acrylic key-ring frame.
