Description

Present angel shows a curly-haired little angel holding out a heart-shaped wreath of pink flowers, with a blue bird flying beside it.

What the picture shows

The wreath in its hands is worked from pink and crimson rosettes laid in the shape of a heart, with green leaves between them, and it is the centre of the composition. The wings are shown in white beads and a white ribbon with a small flower sits on the head. A bird with blue wings and a ginger breast flies at the upper right. White daisies with yellow centres, pale blue forget-me-nots and small pink flowers are scattered across the field, and a branch of pink blossom hangs on the left. The face, body and pale ground stay as print. There are 8 colours. The wreath comes first, and the small scattered flowers are added last, placed unevenly. The angel’s wings are worked in short rows of white beads, and the ribbon on the head is added at the end with a few beads.
