Description

Playdate shows a bear cub in a pink dress with a bouquet, sitting under three balloons tied with a blue bow.

What the picture shows

The balloons above are outlined bead by bead: the purple one in lilac, the pink one in pale pink, the yellow one in gold, with the strings gathered into a blue beaded bow. The cub sits in the centre: the dress stitched in pink rows with a white trim, a wreath of red and yellow flowers on its head. Its paws hold an armful of pink, red and yellow blooms with white daisies. A present in checked paper with a pink ribbon stands on the left. The ground with its printed flowers and streamers is left unbeaded. There are 8 colours. The balloons are outlined first — their size decides how much room is left for the figure below. The wreath on the cub’s head and the posy in its paws are built from small rosettes and take up most of the working time.
