Description

“Love rain” shows an open umbrella with hearts falling on it instead of rain. The title explains the picture literally.

What the picture shows

The umbrella is seen from below: the canopy is divided into panels, each filled with a fine diamond pattern — pink, lilac, yellow and yellow-green beads alternating — and a dark green scalloped band runs along its rim. The handle stays printed, a blue line with a hook. A cloud of hearts rises above the umbrella: some are beaded, pink and coral with lighter specks, while others stay printed in red and pale pink, so they read as the far plane. “Showered with love” is printed in a handwritten face at the upper left. The white ground is left unbeaded, and six colours are enough to keep the canopy from looking flat.
