Description

Happy Wedding – 4 shows a yellow heart with two rings, tied with a pink bow and set in a wreath of violets and butterflies.

What the picture shows

The heart is worked in yellow beads with golden scrolls inside, edged with a pink outline and a row of white beads. Two gold rings are laid over it below. Sprays of purple forget-me-nots with white and yellow centres run out to the left and right, with green leaves and several yellow butterflies between them. A pink bow is tied above on a pale ribbon that crosses the piece vertically. The ribbon itself and the faint ground stay as print. There are 7 colours in a warm range. The outline of the heart is worked first, and the wreath of flowers is measured out from it. The butterflies and forget-me-nots go in after the heart: they fill the gaps, and where each one belongs is only clear once the centre is done.
