Description

Happy Wedding – 1 places a bride and groom inside a pale rectangle with large pink roses lying in front of them. The greeting is restrained, almost graphic.

What the picture shows

The composition is built on a tilted rectangle outlined with a double row of gold and bronze beads, cutting across the lime-green brick-patterned ground on the diagonal. Inside, the printed scene is left as it is: a bride in a white dress and veil, the groom beside her, a hint of a city behind. White beads pick out the folds of the dress and the veil, which is why they catch the most light. Three large roses are set below and to the right in pink and white beads in several shades, ringed with dark green leaves of elongated beads. Ten colours: the pink range, greens, gold and white.
