Happy New Year – 5 has a snowman in a red cap looking in through a window at children by a Christmas tree. He is outside; the holiday is inside.

What the picture shows

The snowman on the right is outlined in white beads, his three black buttons set as individual beads, and a long green scarf with red stripes runs down and carries on into a beaded branch. The cap is red with a white pompom top. The window at the centre is outlined in bronze and gold beads, with the printed scene left inside: two children, a tree, warm light. Snow-laden fir boughs of green and white beads hang from the top and the left. Blue and white snow and a brown branch fill the bottom. The lilac-blue ground is left unbeaded. Eight bead colours.
