Bead Embroidery Postcard Kit "Happy 8th of March (Women's Day) – 1"
Description
Happy 8th of March (Women's Day) – 1 shows a bouquet of white roses with small blue and pink flowers, and a red handwritten greeting across the top left.
What the picture shows
Three large roses run diagonally from the lower left. Their petals are worked row by row in white and pearl beads, which gives them real relief, while the centres are a shade warmer, almost cream. Forget-me-nots are scattered around them — blue petals with yellow dots — together with small pink five-petalled flowers. Stems and leaves use several greens, from grass to dark. The background stays as print on the canvas: a soft shift from lilac to pale green, with no beads on it at all. The greeting is printed too and is not stitched. The 8 colours are spread carefully, most of them white and green. The piece is small, but the shifts inside the white petals need care: white and pearl beads are easy to confuse under artificial light, so it helps to sort them into dishes first and start with the large central rose.
