Bead Embroidery Postcard Kit "Easter – 7"
Description
Easter – 7 places an emerald bird on the rim of a large yellow egg, with willow branches reaching towards it. The scene reads like a spring fable.
What the picture shows
The egg at the centre is outlined in gold beads and left as print — a warm yellow surface with a brown shadow inside the opening. The bird in the upper right is printed too: emerald plumage, a blue sheen on the wing, a rusty breast. The whole willow branch is beaded — each catkin built as a separate ball of white and grey-lilac beads, the stems dark brown with a bronze glint. Green and brown leaf clusters with red flecks fill the lower right. The background, blue at the top and yellowish below, is left bare, so the raised catkins stand out all the more. There are eight bead colours.
