Bead Embroidery Postcard Kit "Easter – 6"

Easter – 6 sets a chick in a white eggshell with a heavy lilac branch hanging above it. A gold ribbon crosses the frame on the diagonal.

What the picture shows

That ribbon is the main line of the composition: two broad rows of bronze and gold beads run from the top edge down through the picture, catching the light. The lilac above the chick is worked generously — crimson, pink and white beads make up the small florets, with stems and leaves in dark and light green. The eggshell is outlined in white and silvery blue, and another green sprig sits below. The chick itself, with its gingery down, is left as full-colour print, as is the watercolour landscape in the upper right: hills, a tree and water. The pale ochre-green background is not beaded either. The ten colours cover the full run from white to bronze.
